Carl Haywood is a seasoned solar energy project manager with 20 years’ experience supervising projects ranging from small residential systems to 1.5 MW commercial systems. He holds OSHA 10, OSHA 30, NABCEP, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, and Sharp Solar certifications
His responsibilities include developing budgets, site safety plans and project schedules; reviewing pre-construction drawings and evaluating subcontractor bids; monitoring progress and quality throughout the entire project; scheduling inspections and overseeing utility interconnections; and performing post-project data analysis in order to improve future project economics.
Prior to joining Quixotic Systems, Carl was a Senior Project Manager with both Pfister Energy and Bright Power. He also served as Director of Operations/Senior Project manager for Lenepe Solar Energy/HG CRT Solar in both Sunbury, Pennsylvania and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Previously, he was a project manager for RCS Energy Services and Solar City.
A native New Yorker, Carl holds an Associate’s degree in electrical technology from Bronx Community College. He is fluent in Spanish.
